It wasn't too long ago that I went on a personal shopping spree. I'd like to be the kind of girl that can shop at any time and always be successful, but the reality is I put off shopping for my self until it is an absolute fashion necessity. I truly have to be in the mood - to peruse, to try clothing on (because not doing so is never successful), and to spend money!
I also tend to gravitate towards a particular brand each spree. The hard part is figuring out which one it will be. Once I do find a style I like and that fits well, I stick with it. I'll end up with two of the same item, but in different colors. Does anyone else do this?
My last spree fared well at JCPenney and was actually the jcp Brand. It was the first I had seen of this new line and I fell in love with the casual, classy style. And bonus, some of it even fit well.
One of my favorite purchases has been this button down cardigan. I first purchased the Tropical Turquoise and wore the jcp Long Sleeved Crew Neck Tee in Lime Punch underneath. The colors went surprisingly well together and both are very comfortable. So, on a follow-up spree, I grabbed the cardigan in black and the long sleeved tee in orchid. Love that combination!
Another one of my favorites are the button up blouses. I ended up with three different varieties. The Long Sleeve Voile in Blue Dot, The Long Sleeve Oxford in Blue/White Stripe, and the Long Sleeve Poplin in Sharp Pink.
I love the Boat-Neck Pullover Sweater, which I now have in Heather Grey; and the V-Neck Pullover Sweater in Ivory - my favorite.
And lastly, because I favor layers, I love the comfort and style of the Short Sleeve V-Neck Tee. I love the way it feels under both sweaters and it works under the blouses too.
It's important to note that fashion, for me, is always a work in progress. And I insist on quality AND reasonable prices. Very pleased with the jcp Brand from JCPenney.
Thanks for reading.
